Just a puzzle of bones moving from end to end

Sometimes it’s hard to understand
Being alive but feeling dead
This may have all been in my head
When I wrote this down with my skeleton hands

I lay in bed staring at the ceiling
I've been up since 3 am restlessly thinking
About pointing the finger on what it is that lingers in my heart
Is it fear of growing older or the hope of somehow growing up
